The Franklin High School Marching Band
is headed to the 2026 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade! I am a proud member of the band in my first season and I am looking forward to this experience of a lifetime! As you already know, it takes a great deal of work and money to send a group of high school kids across the country. In fact, it takes a community. I would be so honored if you joined our community and helped send us there. Find out more about me and ways to help the band below.

I am in eighth grade at Poplar Grove Middle School and a proud member of The Franklin High School Marching Band. I march in the Color Guard where through dance and throwing flags, rifles, and sabers – we visually express what the band is playing. My older brother is in his third year in the FHS marching band and inspired me to join as well. I am looking forward to a great season and four more great seasons to come. This year’s season will be capped off with a once in a lifetime opportunity to march in the 2026 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena California..
Here some ways to help The FHS Marching Band get to the Rose Bowl:
Throwback Fruit Sale
The Franklin Band is bringing back its beloved Fruit Sale to support their upcoming trip to Pasadena to march in the 2026 Tournament of Roses Parade! 30 years ago, The Franklin Band performed in the 1996 Tournament of Roses Parade and was able to fund the entire trip through a fruit sale! To honor our old traditions, we are bringing back the fruit sale to help defray the travel costs associated with this trip.
Orders can be picked up at Franklin High School or shipped nationwide. And if you would like me to get the credit for the sale, remember to select Emily Belbeck at checkout.
